What happens to your report
A blood test is sensitive. Here is exactly what we do and do not do with it.
Encrypted, private storage
Your file is encrypted before it is stored and can only be downloaded by you, signed in. There is no public link to it.
Not read unless you ask
No text extraction, no OCR, no interpretation. While it is only stored, nothing reads your report — it is kept as a sealed file. An explanation happens only when a subscriber asks for one.
Yours to delete
One button in your dashboard erases the file from storage. Reports uploaded without an account are deleted automatically after seven days.
One email when it is ready
We email you a confirmation when your report is stored, and a receipt if you subscribe. That is all — no marketing.

- It stores it, encrypted and linked to your account, so you can download it any time and delete it whenever you want. Storage is free, and while a report is only stored, nothing reads it. On a subscription you can ask for an explanation: the report is read to produce it, and you get plain language about what each value means against the reference ranges printed on your own report. That is an explanation, not a diagnosis, and it never replaces your doctor.
- Do I need an account to upload a blood test?
- No. You can upload first and create an account afterwards to claim the report. An account is what links it to you, keeps it in your dashboard and lets us notify you. Uploads never claimed by an account are deleted after seven days.
- Is FeatherDoc a substitute for medical advice?
- No. FeatherDoc does not diagnose, and nothing on this site is medical advice. Always discuss your results with your healthcare provider.
